Passion Blog

I think it's obvious that my passion is fitness and pushing my body to it's limit. Just kidding it doesn't have a limit, but anyways that is what i'm going to be writing about today.

Since it's the New year I thought to myself ''Why not have a goal that you want to accomplish this year?''. After a brief moment, it came to me. I wanted to be even stronger mentally and physically than i was in 2014. Now 2014 was when i made probably the biggest transformation physically that anyone has ever seen. So you can't help but wonder, ''How are you going to top that?''. Simple, i'll have to push myself to new heights in the gym. That means i'll have to lift heavier every week and get comfortable with uncomfortable. Adding some weight every week is the key to getting stronger, you can't expect your body to change if you're doing the same things over and over. It doesn't work like that. Today for example was leg day. The day everyone loves because you walk in to the gym happy and then crawl out looking all beat up. I was feeling pretty good today, and i mean strong. So i decided to put some more weight on the bar at the squat rack. It was now up to 205 pounds, Boom i knocked that out the park. After giving it some thought i finally said ''Let's go for 225 pounds'. I added the weight onto the bar and then took a moment to breathe. Now keep in mind I have never squatted this much, and this was a squat rack. Not those machines you find at planet fitness, Blink or other commercial gyms. No. This was the real deal. Nothing helping you to get the weight up, no cables, just you and that bar. After mentally preparing myself I finally got under that bar, picked it up, and squatted it. I think it's safe to say i'm going to have some trouble walking tomorrow.

I'm getting stronger everyday and it's all thanks to my dedication. I know that in the long run i'll get what I want, and that's to take this fitness industry by storm and become the next big thing. You get out what you put in and the most amazing things come to those who work every single day at whatever it is you want to do. Starting off the new year with some new personal records. I can do dumbbell chest presses with 60 pound dumbbells now, Lateral Rows with 90 pound dumbbells, Curl 50 pound dumbbells, Squat 225 pounds, and clean and press 105 pounds. Just some of the many new records achieved. Any challengers? Thought so. You know where to find me.
